Amber Rose Mason hails from the historic ghost town of Virginia City, Montana. With a deeply rooted, robust western history steeped in her veins, Amber grew up with values of authenticity and down to earthiness that is a rare find these days. A classy yet enigmatic persona, both versatile and generous, Amber is a passionate workhorse in whatever endeavor she takes part in. 

 

A classically trained actress, Amber earned her BFA from the University of Montana. She started performing with a local professional summer stock theatre at the age of 10 and continued her love of theatre for 11 summers on that same stage. For 3 summers she performed at the "Brewery Follies," a bawdy, risqué social and political commentary. 

 

Amber spent 3 years in Los Angeles cutting her teeth in the audition room: booking commercials, lifestyle shoots and short films before being cast as a baking assistant in the family hit "Cupcake Wars." Upon returning home to Montana and back to the theatre world, Amber joined AEA and the Montana Repertory Theatre on two National tours of "The Great Gatsby" and "On Golden Pond," visiting over 35 different states.

 

Since then, Amber has been cast in a handful of ambitious independent films. Working on films such as "Two Eyes" (Outfest, LA World Premiere 2020), and Tony Stone’s "Ted K," that just received distribution through Neon after premiering at the Berlin Film Festival.

 

Amber works on a large cattle ranch as her day job, starting colts and training horses. She has wrangled for several television shows, short films and was head wrangler on "Two Eyes."
